Job Description

Bridgemead Consulting is recruiting for the position of an accountant on behalf of its client: a beverage (Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic beverages) distribution brand located in the heart of Lagos. The accountant will ensure all accounting standards and policies are adhered to, by performing accounting and financial activities for the organization through effective monitoring of financial data, forecasting and preparation of required statements and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • •Preparing accounts and tax returns.
  • •Monitoring spending and budgets.
  • •Financial forecasting and risk analysis.
  • •Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits.
  • •Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports.
  • •Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations.
Key Skills & Competency:
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software. 5
In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures. 4
Solid knowledge of accounting. 4
Excellent math skills with an attention to detail. 5
Time-management abilities. 4

Education & Experience

Academic Qualifications

BSc. in tax, accounting, finance or other related field.

Years of Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years hands-on experience in accounting or finance.

Other Experience

Possession of ACCA or ACA, CFA is an added advantage. Also, the usage of quick-books is an added value.

Work Hours

Mondays – Fridays. 09:00AM - 06:00PM

Sitting for Long hours. Frequent visits to other organizations or clients may be required.

Salary

N150,000 – N170,000 monthly
